OVS ❤️ Friends is the OVS loyalty programme that gives members access to dedicated benefits, offers and promotions. Every time you shop, you earn Heart Points (1 AED = 1 Heart Point) and unlock more rewards as you go.

Every time you shop with your OVS ❤️ Friends card in OVS stores, you’ll earn Heart Points: 1 AED = 1 Heart Point.

The balance displayed in your profile shows only the Heart Points you’ve earned within your current level.

Once you move up a level, the points used to reach that level are no longer displayed — they’ve already been counted. So what you see is only the progress you’ve made since entering your new level.

To move up from Easy (Level 1) to Super (Level 2), you need 400 Heart Points

From Super (Level 2) to Top (Level 3): 2,000 Heart Points
From Easy (Level 1) directly to Top (Level 3): 2,400 Heart Points

These points are not deducted or deleted – they’re simply no longer visible in your balance, which only reflects your progress in the current level.

Yes. Heart Points are valid for 12 months from the date you enter a new level. At the end of this 12-month period, any points earned within that level will expire. Want to keep your level? Check out the question “How do I keep my current level?” to see how.

The OVS ❤️ Friends programme has 3 levels:

Easy (Level 1)
Super (Level 2)
Top (Level 3)

To move up a level, you’ll need to collect a specific number of Heart Points within your current level:

• 400 Heart Points in Easy (Level 1) → move to Super (Level 2)
• 2,000 Heart Points in Super (Level 2) → move to Top (Level 3)
• 2,400 Heart Points in Easy (Level 1) → jump straight to Top (Level 3)

You have 12 months from the moment you enter a Level to collect the points needed to maintain it or move up to the next Level.

You have 12 months from the date you enter a level to collect the Heart Points you need to keep it:
- Super (Level 2): 400 Heart Points are needed
- Top (Level 3): 2,400 Heart Points are needed

If you don’t reach the target within 12 months, you’ll drop to the level below. You’ll never drop more than one level at a time.

Your Heart Points balance may also show as negative — for example, if you make a return. In that case, you’ll first need to recover the missing points, and then collect enough to meet the target for your level. Example: if you’re at Super (Level 2) with -20 Heart Points and want to stay there, you’ll need to earn 120 Heart Points in that level.

OVS ❤️ Friends discount coupons worth 15 AED and 30 AED are valid on a single purchase of at least 250 AED. They can be used in store, by showing your OVS ❤️ Friends card at the checkout counter. Coupons cannot be split across multiple purchases and cannot be combined with other coupons, sale items, or current promotions.

Birthday Discounts and Kids Birthday Discounts of 10%, 15% or 20% — depending on your level — have no minimum spend. They are valid for a single in-store purchase only, by presenting your OVS ❤️ Friends card at the checkout counter. Birthday discounts can be used during sales, but cannot be combined with other promotions or with OVS ❤️ Friends discount coupons.

Discount coupons cannot be combined with each other or with any other current offers, including pre-sales and sales.

The extra 30% discount is available to members in the Top level (Level 3). Every time you collect 2,400 Heart Points within the Top level, you’ll receive an extra 30% off coupon. For example: if you earn 4,800 Heart Points in Top, you’ll get two extra 30% off coupons. There’s no minimum spend required, and each extra discount coupon is valid for 3 months from the date it is issued.

If you return a purchase, the Heart Points earned from that transaction will be deducted from your balance in the current level. If this brings your balance below the threshold required to maintain your level, you will stay at the same level, but your Heart Points balance will show as negative.

If you used a discount coupon and the return is for the entire purchase, the coupon will be reissued with the same conditions and a new expiry date. If the coupon used was a birthday discount, it will be reissued and valid for 15 days from the reissue date. If the return is partial, the coupon will not be reissued.

Your Heart Points balance may be negative — for example, after a return. In this case, you’ll first need to make up the points you lost, and then earn enough to reach the target for the next level. Example: If you’re in Super (Level 2) with –20 Heart Points, and want to move up to Top (Level 3), you’ll need to collect 520 Heart Points in Super.
